The Birds and the Bees... and the Dogs?

Our chocolate lab happened to go into heat the day after my beloved pugster was killed, so dh decided it was a sign to breed her again. We arranged to have her "boyfriend" Beau come by for a conjugal visit, and, um, let's just say Big Sis had some questions about it...

Big Sis: "Why is Beau jumping on Ani's back like dat?"

Dh: "Um... because Beau wants to give Ani a hug!"

Big Sis: "Oh..."

-then comes the part where they're stuck, rump to rump-

Bis Sis: "What Beau doin?"

Dh: "Still hugging her."

Big Sis: "He must really love her, daddy!"

Dh: "Yes. He. Does."

*sigh*
